Chicken Puff






Soft flaky and crunchy pastry with spicy chicken filling !!! What more do you need to enjoy a hot piping tea. Mostly we buy chicken puffs but once you start making these you will think twice before running to any bakery.

Ingredients
  • 10 sheets of ready made puff pastry squares
  • 300gms boneless chicken pieces
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 medium sized onion chopped
  • 2 tsp chicken masala powder
  • 2 green chillies finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 egg
  • curry leaves
Boil chicken with 1 tsp chicken masala ,salt and little water. Once the chicken pieces cools mince this in a blender or shred it into fine pieces. In a pan heat oil , add ginger garlic paste ,curry leaves, green chilies, chicken masala powder and onion .Sauté this till the onion becomes transparent and add the minced chicken and mix well .Once this mixture is cooled fill it in thawed puff pastry squares and seal the edges by slightly pressing . Brush the puffs with beaten egg and bake for 10 -15 min in 180 C until the puffs are golden brown .
