Microwave Roasted Masala Peanuts












Spicy, tangy, crunchy peanuts and piping hot tea...perfect combination for a chilly evening.

This is an easy and healthy way to enjoy masala peanuts without deep frying.

Ingredients
  • 500gm peeled unroasted peanuts
  • 11/2tsp oil
  • 3/4tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
  • 1tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3/4 tsp of salt to taste
  • A handful of curry leaves 

Take a microwave proof dish and add all the ingredients. Mix all the ingredients well so that peanuts are well coated with the masala. Your hands will do that magic best. Microwave for 10 mins, stirring in between every two mins to get a even roast.The time depends on your microwave power.Mine was 700W and it took 10min. If you use a high power microwave check after 8 min. The peanuts will be crunchy only after it cools.
