Kebabs are soft
succulent minced chicken mixed with simple spices, rolled or grilled on skewers.
Ingredients
- 500gms minced chicken
- 2 tablespoon ginger and garlic finely chopped
- 2 green chilies finely chopped
- 1 medium sized onion finely chopped
- ½ teaspoon red chili powder (Kashmiri chili powder preferably which is less spicy )
- ¼ turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Handful of coriander leaves chopped
- ¼ cup bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoon oil or butter
Heat a pan and add one tablespoon oil. Sauté
ginger, garlic, green chilies and onion for one minute. Add chili, turmeric and
garam masala to the sauté. Fry this for a minute and switch off the flame to
let it cool. To the mix, add the minced chicken, bread crumbs, lemon juice,
salt and coriander leaves well. Roll in
skewers, brush with oil or butter. Grill for 10-12 min until kebabs are golden
brown. Serve hot with salad and yoghurt dip.
