Chocolate Chip Cookies

Recipe source  - Food Network

Chewy gooey in the middle crispy edges, rich chocolate chunks!!! This is just a description, you can add more once you try these cookies. Very easy to make and kids will simply love this.

Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 1/2 sticks( butter 150 gm)
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

Beat together softened butter, sugar and egg until smooth. Mix flour, baking soda, salt. Gently fold or mix the flour in butter mixture little by little. Stir in chocolate chips and vanilla essence. You can chill this cookie dough for one hour in the refrigerator so that its easy to roll into small balls, or else just spoon a heaped tablespoon of dough in a baking tray with little space in between for the cookie to spread. Bake for 10 - 15 min in 180 degree Celsius. Serve with hot or cold milk. About 30 cookies can be made from this recipe.
