A Chinese style preparation which is already easy but making it a bit more simpler.
Ingredients
- 400 gm boneless chicken cubes
- 2 big onions diced
- 1 capsicum diced
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic crushed
- 3 green chilles crushed
- 11/2 tsp chilli sauce
- 11/2 tsp tomato sauce
- 11/2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp cornflour
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp sugar
Marinate chicken pieces in 1/2 tsp each chilli, soy and tomato sauce ,1/2 tsp pepper powder and salt. Let this rest for 15 minutes. In a pan heat oil. Spread cornflour in a plate and dust chicken pieces in this. A fine coating of cornflour is enough . Shallow fry the chicken pieces. In the same oil sauté onion, ginger, garlic, chilies and capsicum for just 1-2 min. The veggies should be crunchy. To this add all the sauces , pepper powder and chicken. Celery and spring onions can also be added at this stage . If you like gravy then mix 1 tbsp cornflour in 1/4 cup water and add to the curry and stir until the gravy thickens. Finally add 1/2 tsp sugar and serve hot with noodles or rice.
