Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour(maida)
- 3/4 cup butter (150 gms) softened
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 250 ml whipping cream
- 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 4 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon instant coffee powder
- 2 tablespoon milk
Using a hand mixer or whisk, beat
butter and sugar well. Add eggs one by one to the butter sugar mixture and beat it
until it's soft and creamy. In a bowl mix flour, baking powder and salt. Use
a whisk and mix properly so that the baking powder gets evenly distributed in
the flour. Now add these dry ingredients little by little to the butter sugar
mixture along with 1 cup milk. Fold until all lumps are gone and a smooth batter is formed. Gently pour 1 tablespoon batter in to each cupcake molds. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 180 C. For the frosting, mix cocoa and coffee powder in 2 tablespoon lukewarm milk and make a smooth paste. Add this to the whipping cream with sugar and beat till soft peaks are formed. Pipe this on top of the cupcakes.
