Prawns Onion Fry



 
Cooking simple things makes life much more easier. You just have to find the correct ingredients in the right proportion. This recipe says it all. A delicious prawns fry just like that!!!
 
Ingredients
  • 400gms prawns cleaned
  • 1 cup finely chopped small onions
  • 2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • coconut oil for frying
  • l tsp lemon juice
  • salt and curry leaves

Marinate the prawns in lemon juice,1tsp chilli powder and turmeric powder for 10 -15 minutes. In a pan heat oil and fry the prawns just for 1 min. Don't overcook the prawns otherwise it will turn hard. Remove it from pan and in the same oil add onion, 1 tsp chilli powder and pepper powder. Saute this till the onions are fried properly . Finally add the prawns and curryleaves. Give this a good stir  and switch off the flame. Serve hot with rice.




Do Note
Instead of small onions normal onions can also be used.
