Spicy Bean Salad

 
 
A bean salad to spice up your meal. Healthy does not mean you have to compromise on taste and flavor. A well balanced salad to satisfy your diet regimen.
 
Ingredients
  • 1 cup cooked beans (any beans of your choice can be used)
  • 1/4 tsp dry roasted cumin (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp honey
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 cups of diced veggies (carrot, cucumber, onion, tomato , bell pepper, pomegranate)
 
Cook beans with little salt and chilli powder. In a mixing bowl toss the veggies and beans. Drizzle olive oil, lime juice, honey to this with cumin seeds. Feta cheese and olives can also be added to bring out the real Mediterranean flavor.

A typical travancore style egg curry served with brown rice or white rice. This is a healthy wholesome curry which can complete your meal.Aviyal is a famous mix veg curry in Kerala. In this recipe egg is cooked in aviyal gravy along with some vegetables.
